The Modicon MCM is a Modular Safety Controller designed to provide a solution for safety applications up to Performance Level PL e/Category 4 according to ISO 13849-1 and SIL3 according to IEC 61508 and IEC 62061. The modular and adjustable safety controller can monitor several safety functions on and around a machine, preventing users from accessing potentially harmful moving parts.
